Aaron Pete, Chief of Chawathil First Nation
Aaron Pete is the Chief of Chawathil First Nation and an experienced leader working at the intersection of Indigenous governance, law, and public policy. He is a graduate of the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia and brings a strong understanding of legal, financial, and governance frameworks impacting First Nations communities.
In addition to his leadership role, Aaron is the Principal of 7 Generations Consulting, where he advises on governance, accountability, and community-focused decision-making. He is also the host of the Nuanced Podcast, a platform dedicated to thoughtful, in-depth conversations that go beyond headlines to explore complex Indigenous, legal, and societal issues.
